The meetings were conducted on the sidelines of the 52nd regular session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva earlier this week.
At the meetings, leaders of countries and international organizations applauded Vietnam's recent achievements, agreed to promote cooperation in all fields, and committed to continue supporting and coordinating with Vietnam at multilateral forums.

During the meeting with French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna, the two sides agreed to effectively implement the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) and commit to work together to resolve the illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing (IUU) yellow card problem.

At the meeting with Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad Al-Malki, the two sides agreed to coordinate well in celebrating the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in November 2023. Deputy Prime Minister Quang said Vietnam creates favorable conditions for the Palestinian side to promote Palestinian culture and economic and trade connection in Hanoi.
During the meeting with the Director General of the World Trade Organization Okonjo-Iweala, the two sides pledged to closely coordinate in implementing commitments in the Geneva Package and handling issues regarding the “special and differential treatment” to developing countries. Ms. Okonjo-Iweala said she hopes to visit Vietnam this year.
