Deputy PM inspects progress of Trung Luong-Can Tho expressway construction

(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung has asked the Ministry of Transport and contractors to ensure the construction progress of the expressway from Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho which is scheduled to be operational by 2020.

During his inspection tour on Saturday, Mr. Dung stressed the importance to ensuring the quality and safety. Mr. Dung said the government and the Prime Minister pay particular attention to this route. The Trung Luong-Can Tho expressway comprises of two sections spanning Ho Chi Minh City-Trung Luong and Trung Luong-My Thuan-Can Tho. The first section Ho Chi Minh city-Trung Luong has been completed.
