(VNA) - Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received Under Secretary of State for the Cambodian Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans, and Youth Rehabilitation Lim Chhay in Hanoi.

Lim Chhay is leading a delegation of 10 Cambodians who on Wednesday assisted Vietnamese volunteer soldiers in Cambodia. He said he hopes that both nations will increase public awareness of the traditional bilateral friendship and solidarity, especially among the youth, to help foster close sentiments between the two peoples. Phuc affirmed that thanks to mutual solidarity, the two peoples have gained great victories of national liberation and national construction and development. He described the Vietnam – Cambodia traditional friendship as an invaluable asset of the two nations and a decisive factor for each country’s revolution.
