Vietnamese Deputy PM Tran Luu Quang.

Mr. Quang is the first high-ranking official of Vietnam to attend the gathering, according to Vietnamese Ambassador to India Nguyen Thanh Hai.

The Deputy PM’s trip also aims to boost trade and investment between the two countries.

Mr. Quang will deliver a speech at the opening session, meet Indian leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and visit major Indian businesses such as Adani, Zydus, SMS Phamaceutical, and UNO Minda. 

He will also meet the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic and the President of Mozambique.
