Thai security forces are investigating the incident in Pattani, where many Muslims live. The explosion happened 2 months after a wave of coordinated bombings in tourist towns in Thailand’s south killed 4 Thais and wounded dozens, including foreigners. The police said the attacks were linked to Muslim armed groups.
