At the meeting, Prime Minister Chinh said all ministries, sectors, localities, agencies, units, and individuals must build databases. To achieve the 10% growth target, the Prime Minister added that it is impossible to rely solely on traditional growth drivers, which are gradually reaching their limits.

Instead, he stressed the need to quickly unlock and thoroughly and effectively tap new growth drivers like the digital economy, green economy, circular economy, especially data, AI, and the data economy. Data security must be a strategic priority to protect the data of over 100 million citizens, Prime Minister Chinh said and underlined five strategic breakthroughs in digital data.

“Breakthroughs in data institutions; breakthroughs in data infrastructure linked to autonomous AI; breakthroughs in data human resources; breakthroughs in the development of national and specialized databases; and breakthroughs in the development of data ecosystems and the data economy."

"Our motto is Decisive action; Results as the measure; Coordinated implementation; Data as an asset; Data infrastructure as the foundation; Data economy as the spearhead; Data security as crucial; and Citizens and businesses at the center.”
