Addressing the opening of the 10th meeting of the Dak Nong People’s Council Chairwoman, Ngan urged local authorities to strengthen solidarity and take measures to promote local potentials. She congratulated Dak Nong Geopark on its recognition by UNESCO as a Global Geopark, Vietnam’s third after Dong Van Karst Plateau geopark and Non Nuoc Cao Bang geopark.
Madam Ngan said: "The recognition is good news for Dak Nong and for Vietnam. Dak Nong needs to improve its management and infrastructure to maximize the geopark’s potential to boost tourism and the local economy."
