Da Nang wants further cooperation with US businesses

(VOVWORLD) -Secretary of Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang on Friday introduced the US Ambassador to the development orientation of the city and expressed hope to promote connection with US investors and businesses.

Receiving visiting Ambassador Marc E. Knapper in Da Nang, Mr. Quang informed of the city’s new development orientations.

Besides the tourism-service sector, Da Nang will develop high technology and information technology and is submitting to the Government a project to turn itself into a regional financial center.

He said that hopefully the Ambassador will pay attention to and create conditions for US businesses to learn about and invest in Da Nang.

Knapper praised Da Nang’s recent development and promised to coordinate well with the city's leaders to continue to attract investment and promote prosperity for the locals.
