Concluding the meeting, the Prime Minister praised Da Nang’s achievements which he said have made an important contribution to the national achievements, especially in the COVID-19 prevention and control and in socio-economic recovery and development.

Prime Minister Chinh underlined development orientations, solutions and tasks in the coming time.

“It is necessary to continue to strongly promote the spirit of self-reliance, turning the impossible into the possible, and turning the difficult into the easy, effectively take advantage of all potentials, comparative advantages and outstanding opportunities, rise strongly with endogenous strength, and contribute to building an independent and self-reliant economy.”

“Thoughts must be mature and clear, determination must be high, efforts must be great, actions must be drastic and effective, implementation must be focused, striving for the highest results, successfully undertaking tasks for this year and the socio-economic development plan for the period of 2021-2025,” he said.

Prime Minister Chinh asked Da Nang to continue to effectively prevent and control COVID-19, creating the most favorable conditions for socio-economic recovery and development.

Da Nang should be built into a major socio-economic center of the country, the nucleus of the urban chain and the growth momentum of the Central-Central Highlands key economic region, he said.
