This follows a tourism campaign's first phase called "Stay Strong Da Nang" to attract more tourists as the central city fights to move past the novel corona virus (COVID-19) period. The campaign largely focused on visitor safety and ended in late October.

Huynh Thi Huong Lan, Deputy Director of the Tourism Promotion Center of the Da Nang municipal Department of Tourism, said: "We want to send our heart-felt sentiments to visitors and wish to welcome them back. We hope to maintain images of Da Nang as a friendly and safe destination in visitors’ minds." 

The song “Da Nang Miss You”, written by composer Le Cat Trọng Ly, has simple lyrics with videos showing tourism activities in the central city, promoting images of Da Nang as a friendly and safe destination for domestic and foreign visitors.
