(VOVworld) – The Da Nang city People’s Committee has held a meeting to collect opinions from social and political organizations, and local authorities on the revised Land Law. Most of the delegates said the revised Land Law includes good, practical amendments that fit people’s aspirations.


Lawyer Le Xuan Hat, Vice President of Da Nang City Lawyers’ Association, suggests: "Land for housing is an essential need of the people. The state should have policies in place guaranteeing that all people have home. We suggest that the Law Drafting Board should further clarify the people’s rights to housing."

Further proposals included the amendments of regulations concerning the rights and responsibilities of land users, issues regarding land prices, the resolution of complaints and petitions involving land issues.
