Vietnamese tourists pick Da Lat city in Lam Dong province for its cool climate, tranquil and scenic mountains, and lovely cafes, which is the perfect escape from the early summer heat.

Also in Booking.com’s top 10 list are beach cities like Da Nang, Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa), Vung Tau (Ba Ria-Vung Tau), Phu Quoc (Kien Giang), Hue, Hoi An (Quang Nam), Ha Long (Quang Ninh), and big cities like Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi.

The Netherlands-based app also reported a trend with Vietnamese tourists preferring big cities or destinations with a rich history. The list was compiled based on search results and booking requests by Vietnamese tourists for the April 28 to May 7 period.
