(VOVworld) – The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Friday that officials of Cuba and the US have already met to improve the efficiency of the fight against crimes and discuss investigation procedures. They agreed on the meeting’s fruitfulness and to hold similar talks in the future.
The two countries also resumed cooperation in finance, banking, trade, and telecommunication. The first direct flight between them began operation last week.
