COVID-19: Vietnam’s daily count hits 5 digits for 4 consecutive days

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam recorded more than 11,200 new infections of COVID-19 on Sunday, bringing the national tally to nearly 350,000. 

The country’s daily count has passed the 10,000 mark for 4 days in a row. 

The latest infections were detected in 36 localities with HCM city (nearly 4,200), Binh Duong (nearly 3,800), and Dong Nai (nearly 850) leading the caseload. 

737 deaths have been reported over the past 2 days in 15 localities.

Nearly 150,000 patients have fully recovered and more than 8,000 have died.
