Hanoi remains the epicenter of the pandemic at the moment with 6,860 new infections.

So far, Vietnam has reported 205 cases of Omicron variant in 18 cities and provinces among a total of 2,890,252 COVID-19 cases.

The same day, 10,412 COVID-19 patients fully recovered, bringing Vietnam’s total recovery to more than 2,305,000. 77 deaths of the coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours.

By Tuesday afternoon, Vietnam had administered 192 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine. 59 out of 63 cities and provinces have the full vaccination coverage of 90%.
