COVID-19: 15,200 new cases, 31,000 recoveries on Friday

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam on Friday recorded 15,236 new COVID-19 cases, of which 21 were imported and 15,215 were recorded domestically, down 52 cases compared to the previous day, in 59 provinces and cities.

In the past 24 hours, the number of new recoveries broke previous records with more than 31,000 cases; 246 deaths were reported.

A total of  137 million doses of vaccine has so far been administered, including 75.5 million first doses (96.8% of adult population), 60 million second doses (80.8% of adult population), and 1 million third doses.
