Nguyen Ngoc Quynh, Director of the Department of Overseas Labor Management of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs, said: This is the first time Germany has launched such a pilot project for non-EU beneficiaries. Germany currently has a shortage of nurses, especially to care for the elderly in hospitals. In this project, orderlies will have a chance to obtain a nursing certificate and then work in Germany.
After three years of study and work, participants will be eligible to take a German national exam and then they will either stay and work in Germany or return home.
