Countries urge Saudi Arabia and Iran to ease tension through dialogue

(VOVworld) - Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida and US Secretary of State John Kerry had a telephone talk Wednesday, to seek ways to ease tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran through dialogue. Kishida said they shared deep concern over the worsening relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran and agreed on a peace plan urging both sides to refrain for the sake of stability in the Middle East.

(VOVworld) - Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida and US Secretary of State John Kerry had a telephone talk Wednesday, to seek ways to ease tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran through dialogue.
Kishida said they shared deep concern over thse worsening relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran and agreed on a peace plan urging both sides to refrain for the sake of stability in the Middle East.

The US Department of State has called on Saudi Arabia and Iran to negotiate and asked leaders of regional countries to help reduce tension. The Turkish Foreign Ministry also expressed concern over escalating tension between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
