COP 21 begins

(VOVworld) – The UN climate summit COP 21 opened in Paris Sunday. A minute of silence was observed for Paris terrorist attack victims, followed by a speech by Peruvian Environment Minister Manuel Pulgar-Vidal, who stressed that an effective climate deal is the best way to overcome low morale caused by the recent terror attacks. French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said the summit aims to reach an ambitious deal supported by all nations.
