In his address, President Phuc said the coordination between the President and the NA Standing Committee has been fruitful helping improve the performance of the State President, the NA, and the NA Standing Committee.
President Phuc asked the NA to strengthen its role creating legal frameworks to serve national socio-economic development.
The President said: "The relations between the State President, the NA and the NA Standing Committee is a close cooperation under the leadership of the Party and assignment of the Party Central Committee, the Party Politburo and under the Constitution and Law. The State President wants to work closely with the NA and the NA Standing Committee to reform and improve the quality of the law building and develop a legal system that serves the public and businesses."
The President stressed the need to center on the people during the law building process and pay attention to women and children, remote, island and mountain regions, disadvantaged areas, social security issues, climate change, epidemics, and health care.
