(VOVworld)- On Wednesday, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor organized a workshop to gather opinions on the revised Civil Procedures Code. Participants stressed the need to revise regulations on the court’s application of simple procedures on simple labor disputes and to reduce court fees for workers. The participants asked for a separate Chapter on Labor Procedures, which is expected to be developed into a Labor Procedures Law, in order to facilitate the settlement of labor disputes, stabilize their work, and prevent strikes. In addition, the conciliation process in settling labor disputes needs to be simplified to ensure laborers’ rights and interests.
