(VOVworld) – The French Embassy in Vietnam and online newspaper VnExpress are to host a contest entitled “I love France”. At a press conference in Hanoi on Friday, organizers that this is part of activities to the mark the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and France. The contest, which will run from June 3 to 28, is open to VnExpress audience. Entries can be sent in the form of a video clip, a photo report and essay talking about experiences, memories and impressions of France. The first prize will be a 6-day tour of France. The award presentation ceremony will take place on France’s National Day (Bastille Day), July 14. Thang Duc Thang, Editor in chief of VnExpress, says: “France is an influential cultural nation and a developed economy. French-related information has caught the attention of the Vietnamese public. I hope that the contest, which coincides with the 40th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties, will be of great significance”.
