(VOVworld) – The French Embassy in Vietnam and online newspaper VnExpress are to host a contest entitled “I love France”. At a press conference in Hanoi on Friday, organizers that this is part of activities to the mark the 40^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and France. The contest, which will run from June 3 to 28, is open to VnExpress audience. Entries can be sent in the form of a video clip, a photo report and essay talking about experiences, memories and impressions of France. The first prize will be a 6-day tour of France. The award presentation ceremony will take place on France’s National Day (Bastille Day), July 14. Thang Duc Thang, Editor in chief of VnExpress, says: “France is an influential cultural nation and a developed economy. French-related information has caught the attention of the Vietnamese public. I hope that the contest, which coincides with the 40^th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties, will be of great significance”.
