According to the participants, commercial franchising will become more popular with diversified forms. Thus, Vietnam needs to fine-tune regulatory activities to make it more amenable to the business situation as well as protect the rights and benefits of the participants. Pham Nguyen Minh, an expert from the European Trade Policy and Investment Support Project, said: “It is necessary to complete mechanisms and policies to promote commercial franchising in Vietnam. There should be specific regulations on trademark systems, products, and the process of commercial franchising. It is essential to enhance training and raise the quality of human resources”.
