(VOVworld) - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on Saturday visited General Vo Nguyen Giap on his 102nd birthday on August 25th.
The Party leader conveyed his best regards to General Giap, the first commander-in-chief of the Vietnamese People’s Army, and an excellent student of late President Ho Chi Minh. He also praised doctors and medical staff at the Central Military Hospital 108 in Hanoi for taking good care of the General.
