Conference to boost import-export in Central Highlands

(VOVWORLD) -A hybrid conference to promote trade for the Central Highlands will be held Friday by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the People's Committee of Dak Lak province.

The conference will discuss cooperation and production chain links to increase the value of export products of the Central Highlands region, and linking Central Highlands trade promotion and import-export activities.

The conference will review the results of promotion activities on social networking platforms and e-commerce platforms, and opportunities, challenges, and solutions for this year and in the coming years for the Central Highlands region.

Activities will include promoting products of the Central Highlands region with export enterprises and trade promotion organizations and organizing online trade connections with 30 importers from the Philippines, China, the  US, and Hong Kong (China).

The five Central Highlands provinces of Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, and Lam Dong are blessed with a favourable climate, good soil, and plentiful natural resources. They have a great potential for forest-based economic development, agro-forestry product processing, and mining.
