Wang, who is in New York for the 74th session of the UN General Assembly, made the remark on Tuesday while addressing a dinner co-hosted by the National Committee on US-China Relations, the US-China Business Council, the American Chamber of Commerce, and the Council on Foreign Relations, Xinhua news agency reported. In a world confronted with more and more challenges, no country would do well in isolation or be able to fix all problems single-handedly, Wang said, noting that the sharing of international responsibilities is a natural practice. He said the ups and downs in China-US relations provide ample evidence that confrontation and conflict is not in the fundamental interests of both sides, and dialogue and cooperation is the only way to forward.
