The 2025 Global Innovation Index (GII) surveyed 139 economies and ranked them based on 78 indicators.
Switzerland remained at No.1, a position it has held since 2011, followed by Sweden and the US. They were followed by South Korea, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Finland, the Netherlands, and Denmark.
