(VOVworld) - Another case of H7N9 was reported in east China's Zhejiang Province on Sunday, according to the provincial Health and Family Planning Commission. The patient is a 34-year-old woman from the city of Zhuji. She was confirmed to be infected with the bird flu virus on Saturday and is now in critical condition at a local hospital.



This is the 2^nd case of H7N9 detected in China since the beginning of the year. Since last March, China has detected 140 cases of H7N9, 45 of whom have died.  

The authorities are tightening their management, including testing and disinfecting poultry selling areas and clamping down on poultry sales.
