The event organized by the Sun Group celebrates Hanoi’s 20th anniversary of UNESCO recognition as City for Peace. Nguyen Phuong Dung, a resident of Hanoi, said: “Crowds of people attended today’s event. It was very exciting. Vietnam is promoting international cultural integration and exchanges, such events will make the world better understand Vietnam, its culture and tradition.”
The carnival involves parades of nearly 100 professional Vietnamese and foreign artists in colorful costumes.
