(VOVworld) – 55 parliamentarians who belong to the Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) were sworn in on Tuesday before King Norodom Sihamoni at the Royal Palace, ending a year-long political deadlock in Cambodia. They were elected in a parliamentary election last July. Speaking to the press after the ceremony, CNRP President Sam Rainsy said the CNRP has honored its agreement with the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP). Son Chhay, a CNRP parliamentarian, said CNRP legislators will attend a parliamentary session this Friday.
