In a live broadcast on his official Facebook page, Mr. Hun Sen said Rainsy’s allegation is an “act of defamation” and he may face criminal charges.
The prime minister's reaction came after Rainsy, president of the Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP), called on the international community to ensure that commune elections in 2017 and national elections in 2018 will be truly democratic.
