In his remarks, CPP President Samdech Hun Sen said the CPP stands side by side with the Cambodian people in all circumstances and strives to overcome all obstacles for a Cambodia of independence, peace, freedom, democracy, neutrality, and social development. Hun Sen also talked about the CPP’s victory in the communal elections which took place earlier this month, which, he said, validated the Party’s role in protecting peace, political stability, and development in Cambodia. He called on Party members to live harmoniously in accordance with Cambodia’s Constitution.
