(VOVworld) – The Cambodian People’s Party celebrated the 38th anniversary of the victory over the genocidal regime on Saturday (1979-2017) with the participation of more than 10,000 people.

At the ceremony, Prime Minister and President of the Cambodia People’s Party Samdech Hun Sen thanked Cambodian and Vietnamese soldiers for sacrificing their lives to liberate Cambodia from the genocidal regime.
Mr. Hun Sen highlighted Cambodia’s achievements in all fields over the past 38 years, especially its growth rate of 7.7% in recent years. He said that the two parties having seats in the National Assembly and Senate will exert their efforts to address all the problems based on conciliation and national solidarity, strengthen cooperation between political parties and social organizations to serve the people, and contribute to national development.
