Over the past 15 years, trade union organizations in the city have paid close attention to improving the spiritual life of the workers and developing campaigns to maintain a cultural lifestyle at both local levels and in the corporate culture. Many agencies and units even attach importance to developing a sense of working and communication culture among their staff. Le Hong Trieu is the Director of Ho Chi Minh city’s Labor Culture Palace which has been honored for its achievements in implementing the resolution: "Over the past 15 years, Ho Chi Minh City’s Labor Culture Palace has created practical programs. Apart from clubs and groups dedicated to preserving the traditional cultural values such as Quan ho folk songs and Tai tu (amateur music), the Palace has also organized activities promoting a cultural lifestyle for workers and introduced advanced and practical cultural experience to industrial parks as well as export and processing zones".

On the same day, a review conference on the implementation of the Party Resolution was also held in the central province of Quang Nam. There, more than 80 percent of households and thousands of agencies and units have been recognized as meeting cultural standards. The Party Committees at all levels in the province have vigorously developed literature programmes, preserving items of cultural heritage and expanding international cooperation in cultural activities.
