Brunei pledged to work closely with ASEAN members and partners to effectively implement the ASEAN Community Vision 2025 and the master plan to build a community on the three pillars of politics-security, economy, and socio-culture.
Brunei pledged to continue the initiatives and results achieved last year when Vietnam was the ASEAN Chair, in particular the ASEAN Comprehensive Recovery Framework to cope with the Covid-19 epidemic and make a rapid socio-economic recovery.
Brunei will focus on building a harmonious, resilient, people-centered community; prepare for the future to ensure that people can take advantage of new opportunities and overcome challenges; and create opportunities for all through initiatives that promote sustainable prosperity.
