They discussed plans for a government of national unity to oust Boris Johnson and ask the EU to permit a Brexit extension until January 31, 2020, which Boris Johnson has dismissed several times despite Parliament’s Withdrawal Act.

Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn said a national unity government is the last resort, and Parliament will do whatever it must to force Johnson to agree to an extension if a deal cannot be reached before October 19.
