(VOVworld) – Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Le Hong Anh on Tuesday paid a new year visit to officers and soldiers of the Long Khot Border Guard Station, Long An province.

Mr. Anh affirmed the close cooperation between border guards, people, and local authorities for socio-economic and cultural development, improving living standards and poverty reduction in the border area. The Politburo member asked the station to increase its vigilance to protect security and territorial sovereignty.
