On Saturday, the program “Border guard spring warms villagers’ hearts” took place in Thanh An island commune, Can Gio district, Ho Chi Minh City, demonstrating the close bonding between the army and people.
Funds have been allocated to eliminate five dilapidated houses in Thanh An commune. Gifts were given to families of war invalids, martyrs, policy beneficiaries, and disadvantaged people. Students have benefited from the "Helping Children Go to School" program sponsored by the municipal Border Guard. Free medical examination, treatment, and medicine distribution were offered to 150 people.
The program organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command on the occasion of Lunar New Year every year is dedicated to the people in the coastal areas and the corridor of the city's port gate.

On the same day, a Spring program 2025 entitled “Border guard spring warms villagers’ hearts” was held in Ia Pnon border commune in Duc Co district, Gia Lai province. Pursuant to the motto "no one is left behind", many activities were implemented including Zero-dong Tet market, Chung cake making, and cultural and arts exchanges.
The Gia Lai provincial Border Guard Command presented 100 Tet gift sets to policy beneficiary households, disadvantaged households, and 20 students, who receive help to go to school and are adopted by border stations.
