(VOVworld) – A Culture and Sports Day was held Monday to mark the 55th anniversary of the Vietnam Border Guards Force and 25 years of the People’s Border Guard Day.

The event promotes relations between the Border Guard High Command and partner organizations. Captain Doan Ngoc Bau is in charge of youth issues: "This is a very meaningful and practical activity to mark the third time the Border Guard force has received the Ho Chi Minh Order. Youths sing traditional songs, learn from their predecessors, and continue the tradition of protecting national sovereignty”.
