(VOVworld)- A book entitled “ Chu Van An- a teacher of all generations” was released in Hanoi today to mark his 720th birth anniversary. Born in Thanh Tri district on the outskirts of Hanoi, Chu Van An was Vietnam’s most outstanding Confucian and a teacher of all Vietnamese generations. The book features Chu Van An’s life and career and introduces some relics that worship him. Trieu Dinh Phuc, Secretary of Thanh Tri district’s Party Committee and Head of the Steering Committee for the book compilation says: “Chu Van An is honored as the most outstanding Vietnamese educator. Chu Van An successfully brought Confucianism to Vietnam. His ideology and viewpoints in education are of great significance for all generations”.
