(VOVworld) - A morning rush hour bomb killed at least 71 people at a Nigerian bus station on the outskirts of the capital Abuja on Monday. The wounded have been moved to hospitals in and near the capital.
This is a single assault that has caused the greatest casualty so far in the Nigerian capital area that includes Abuja and outlying regions.
More than ten buses were burnt while many other means of transports have been destroyed. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing but Nigerian authorities had doubts about the Islamic extremist group of Boko Haram to be the culprit of the explosion.
