The meeting is scheduled to take place at the US Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C., coinciding with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s planned visit to the White House on February 18.
The meeting aims to mobilize financial support for Gaza’s reconstruction. President Trump will serve as chair of the newly established Council, tasked with overseeing post-conflict reconstruction in Gaza, including the disarmament of Hamas, as part of the second phase of his proposed 20-point peace plan.
More than 20 countries, including Israel, have accepted invitations to join the Board of Peace.
