Belgian police arrested 16 people in 22 terror raids in the country on Monday, Nov 23rd, 2015.

At a press conference on Sunday evening, Michel said Brussel’s metro system will remain closed on Monday because of a "serious and imminent" threat.

The announcement followed an emergency meeting of the National Security Council. Belgium’s Coordinating Unit for Threat Analysis (OCAM) is keeping the terror alert in Brussels at the highest level. Other regions are at level 3.
