(VOVworld) - UN Secretary-general Ban Ki-moon called on Asian countries to resolve conflicts through dialogue at the fourth summit of the Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in Shanghai on Wednesday.
Ban said the world’s future depends on Asia but expressed his concern over conflicts there. He said a culture of dialogue has prevailed in Asia for a long time and the CICA aims to foster greater trust and cooperation. Ban said Asian people expect wise decisions from their leaders to resolve conflicts peacefully and in line with international law.
