(VOVworld) – Australia’s Senate President John Hogg has lauded the effective cooperation between the legislative bodies of Australia and Vietnam at Tuesday’s reception for newly-accredited ambassador Luong Thanh Nghi. He praised the two legislative bodies’ cooperation in legislation, strengthening relations between parliamentarians and voters, as well as between legislative committees and social communities. Hogg suggested the two parliaments increase the exchanges of visits to promote mutual understanding and friendship. Ambassador Nghi vowed to try his best to further strengthen Vietnamese-Australian ties during his current term of office.
