The PM addressed a hybrid meeting in Hanoi to review the first half of 2025 of the State Steering Committee for National Key Transport Projects and examine the campaign "500 days and nights of emulation to build 3,000 km of expressways".

"We must definitely complete at least 3,000 km of expressways from now until the end of 2025, this is the goal set by the Party Congress. Given the nature and significance of the task, we consider this a command of the heart, the highest sense of responsibility with the spirit of the August Revolution".

There are only five months left from now until the end of this year, the workload is very heavy, Prime Minister Chinh said, emphasizing the requirement that infrastructure must go first, create a premise for industries and localities and open up new development space, as Vietnam is now entering the second month of organizing and operating the two-tier local government model.
