The event is within the framework of the work plan of the ASEAN Social Work Consortium until 2025 and the roadmap for implementing the Hanoi Declaration on strengthening social work towards a cohesive and responsive ASEAN Community.

The workshop spotlighted empowering women and children in ASEAN by providing quality social work services to those at risk or affected by violence.

Participants discussed cooperation between relevant ministries and agencies in implementing the guidelines and promote role models in social work activities in Vietnam.
