(VOVworld) -  The 2015 ASEAN Gala event was held on Thursday by ASEAN missions in Singapore at the Embassy of Indonesia. The venue of the event featured booths of ASEAN missions, showcasing the diversity of ASEAN culture and culinary traditions and that of ASEAN partners to show solidarity among ASEAN countries and between ASEAN and its partners. On this occasion, the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore introduced Vietnam’s traditional dishes and dances. Vietnamese Ambassador to Singapore Nguyen Tien Minh hailed the event as the first gathering of ASEAN countries since ASEAN leaders signed a declaration to establish the ASEAN Community by the end of this year.
