(VOVworld) - Argentina’s Chamber of Deputies on Wednesday highly valued the significance of the Vietnamese Revolution in the history of safeguarding and building the country on the occasion of the 70th National Day (September 2).

The chamber’s statement reviewed Vietnam’s important historical milestones since French colonialists began invading Vietnam in 1858, including the establishment of the Indochinese Communist Party in 1930 and the Viet Minh Front in 1941 and the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945).
The statement concluded with a praise of the Vietnamese people’s struggle for national independence and their efforts to develop the country over the past seven decades, affirming that they deserve to live in peace.
