APEC 2026: China Year launched in Guangzhou

(VOVWORLD) -As the host of APEC in 2026, China will host the first APEC senior officials’ meeting and related meetings in Guangzhou from February 1 to 10. This will be the first official event of the APEC “China Year,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Wednesday.

APEC is the most important economic cooperation mechanism in the Asia-Pacific region. The 33rd APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting will be held in Shenzhen in November 2026.
